Meet 2.5 year old Hattie! If you're seeking a gentle, easy-going companion who brings sunshine to every day, Hattie is the perfect match for you! This squishy and loveable dog is all about relaxation and companionship. With a happy-go-lucky spirit, Hattie spends most of her day napping and will gladly curl up beside you for belly scratches or give you space while you go about your day. Her favorite toys are small, stuffed animals that she can easily carry around and gently nibble. Although her rotund, potato-shaped figure may suggest otherwise, Hattie thinks she's the fastest dog around and is determined to catch any lizards or squirrels that enter the yard. When she's had her fill of fun, Hattie enjoys basking in the sunshine or finding a cool spot in the shade to take a snooze. Her foster mom reports that not even rain, thunder, or fireworks seem to bother Hattie!

Hatte is fully house trained, walks well on a leash, and rests quietly in the crate when her foster parents leave the house. Hattie prefers to sleep in the room with her humans, though she promises she doesn't snore too loudly! Because Hattie enjoys chasing squirrels a little too much, her foster parents suggest a house without cats might be best. Despite not being well cared for prior to coming to the LASPCA, Hattie's resilient spirit shines brightly and she will make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a sweet, squishy pup.
