Give a gift to a shelter pet!

The Louisiana SPCA accepts donated items that can enrich the lives of pets in our care. We also have an Amazon Wish List of items that are needed!

All items donated go to the care, support, and enrichment of pets in our care while they wait to find their second chance at happiness.

Donated items we accept:

– Dry dog and cat food (products should be unopened and unexpired)
– Wet dog and cat food (products should be unopened and unexpired)
– Kitten and puppy milk
– Food items: peanut butter, tuna in water, corn syrup, canned sweet potato or pumpkin (nothing added), chicken or beef broth
– Food and water bowls
– Blankets, towels, and sheets (must be clean; no pillows)
– Cat litter
– Newspaper
– Puppy pads
– Unexpired pet medication
– Kennels of all sizes
– Dog and cat toys of any kind (Kongs, jingle balls, etc.)

Another way to have your donations reach pets in need is to shop our Amazon Wishlist. All items will be shipped directly to our Algiers Campus for distribution.
