I authorize the Louisiana SPCA (LASPCA) and its veterinary team to administer the vaccines and related services selected for my pet. I understand that while vaccinations are important for preventing disease and are generally safe, adverse reactions or complications may occur. These may include allergic reactions, swelling, vomiting, lethargy, or, in rare cases, life-threatening reactions. I acknowledge that I am responsible for monitoring my pet following vaccination and seeking veterinary care if an adverse reaction occurs. I understand that the Louisiana SPCA does not provide emergency or after-hours veterinary care. To the fullest extent permitted by Louisiana law, I release the Louisiana SPCA, its employees, veterinarians, and volunteers from liability for adverse reactions or complications associated with vaccination or handling during the event, except where liability cannot legally be waived.
