Hi, I'm Waldo.

I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but I'm more of a "hide behind you and observe" kind of guy than anything else. Once I feel safe, especially with my favorite person or in my comfort zone, I really start to warm up and show my sweet loyal personality.

I LOVE being outside and going on adventures. I've been to dog friendly bars and coffee shops and did great. Most of the time, I'll just relax quietly under your feet while you hang out. I'm also a great walking buddy and enjoy both short strolls and longer walks.

I play really well with dogs of all sizes, but I especially love rough and tumble play with bigger dogs. Zoomies and wrestling are some of my favorite things. I also love car rides, sticking my head out the window, and checking out all the new smells along the way.

I'm housetrained and already know "sit" and "paw." I'm very food motivated, which makes me eager to learn and easy to train. I enjoy all kinds of treats, chew toys, squeaky toys, and cozy spots to relax near my people. I can be a little whiney when I want attention or something I like, but that's just part of my charm. Oh, and if I get really excited, I might show off my adorable little jump spin.

I'm looking for a patient person or family who will give me time to settle in, love me for who I am, and take me along for all kinds of adventures.

In Louisiana, our pets are a part of our culture as much as anything else. And for more than 130 years, the Louisiana SPCA has been an advocate for all our furry friends across the state. Follow our Lead and show the characters of Louisiana you care by supporting the Louisiana SPCA.
