Does your home need a little more joy and cuteness? Then Dama Fortuna is your girl. This sweet, petite, young cat came into the shelter in active labor and delivered three healthy kittens. The new family went to stay in a foster home, where Dama was a loving and attentive mother to her babies. After they got adopted, Dama spent more time with her foster family, and now she's looking for her next adventure.

Dama was a stray before entering foster care, so she had a lot of new things to get used to, like ceiling fans, loud shoes, and the vacuum cleaner. But Dama rose to every challenge, getting braver and braver each day. She quickly learned how to use the litterbox and loves to scratch on her post. Dama is still a bit shy at first but given love and a little patience she can conquer all her fears.

Dama loves napping on her soft blanket pile all day, and when her foster humans go to bed, she cuddles them all night long. She likes to bring her stuffed toys and give them as gifts to her favorite people! She loves looking out the window at birds and practicing her own hunting and jumping skills with her feather wand toy. She is a chatty girl who always meows hello when her foster mom comes home, and she loves to keep foster mom company while she's in the bathtub or working on the computer.

Dama is apprehensive around other adult cats - she must have had a hard time living outside as a young, pregnant kitten! She was a total angel with her three young kittens but fought with the other adult cats in her foster home. She might do best as a single cat, or with a very slow, gradual introduction to a young playmate.

From her cute shallow face to her adorable, lopped tail, Dama Fortuna is 100% good girl who just wants a person to love.
