Hi there, I'm Elko! I love spending my days exploring and sniffing around, making the most of every moment. I'm a bit independent, but I truly cherish my human friends and always want to be part of whatever you're doing. I'm the type of dog who thinks I'm a lap dog, so I'll happily stay close and soak up all the affection I can get.

I'm a calm but persistent snack beggar and can get a little enthusiastic on walks, so I may pull while taking everything in. I also have a goofy side, including my very serious belief that fake dogs are real, which always keeps things entertaining. I can be vocal at times, especially when I'm alone, but I'm very people focused and love being near my humans.

I've earned my Bronze Training Certificate, which means I know sit, watch, and leave it, and I enjoy learning new things when I'm taught. I'm a gentle, loyal companion who respects your space but is always there when you need a friend, ready to brighten your days.
