Meet Adeline! Adeline was found starving, and suffering from an upper respiratory infection in the aftermath of Ida. As she was resting and recuperating in foster care, her sweet purrsonality started to emerge, but unfortunately so did some problems with her teeth.

When Adeline was cleared for dental surgery, she was diagnosed with stomatitis. Adeline will need an adopter who can provide her with a lifetime of dental care, as stomatitis is only manageable, not curable. She will need an adopter who is comfortable with brushing her teeth very regularly, as well as providing her with a specialty diet like Science Diet Oral care in order to help her keep as many teeth as possible.

This may seem like a lot of work for a little cat, but her foster mama would like you to know that Adeline is MORE than worth it. Adeline is one of the BEST kittens that this foster mama has ever met. She is sweet, smart, playful, cuddly, and gets along well with other kitties!! She deserves the best forever home possible, and if you think that might just be YOUR home, please email foster@laspca.org to get in touch with Adelines foster for more information!

In Louisiana, our pets are a part of our culture as much as anything else. And for more than 130 years, the Louisiana SPCA has been an advocate for all our furry friends across the state. Follow our Lead and show the characters of Louisiana you care by supporting the Louisiana SPCA.

The Louisiana SPCA helped more than 3,000 animals find their forever home in 2020.
