Hello world! My name is Fester and boy am I ready to find a new home! I was found roaming around after Hurricane Ida and no one came to claim me. I swear I am really good boy that will make your life so much brighter! I'm an old soul but still full of life. I become full of energy when someone walks up to me, but then am ready to snuggle the day away with you. I'm longing to get out of this place and find somewhere to spend my retirement.

If you would like to adopt me, please make an appointment online at our Plaquemines Parish Campus. Located just 15 minutes away from New Orleans at 455 F Edward Hebert blvd. Belle Chasse, LA 70037. Our Main Campus location in New Orleans is currently closed for adoption, as they are assisting our furry friends in neighboring parishes with Hurricane Ida relief. We appreciate your continuous support and interest in adoptions at our partnering locations as we continue these recovery efforts.

In Louisiana, our pets are a part of our culture as much as anything else. And for more than 130 years, the Louisiana SPCA has been an advocate for all our furry friends across the state. Follow our Lead and show the characters of Louisiana you care by supporting the Louisiana SPCA.

The Louisiana SPCA helped more than 3,000 animals find their forever home in 2020.
