Food Pantry

Food & Pet Supplies

Our Pet Food Pantry was created to help pet parents by providing pet food, litter, and other pet-related necessities like leashes and collars.

Items in our Pet Food Pantry are available on a first-come-first-served basis. This is a donation-based pantry, which means there are times when items are unavailable due to lack of inventory. We suggest calling the campus near you before coming to confirm that we have the items available that you need.

Most of the animals we take in from owner surrenders are due landlord issues. We encourage each owner surrender to exhaust every option before surrendering their pet, including re-homing their pet with a trusted friend, family member, or reputable source.

Our Food Pantry was created to help struggling pet parents by providing pet food, litter, and other pet-related necessities like leashes and collars.

At the Louisiana SPCA, it’s part of our mission to foster the human-animal bond, especially in our training classes.  Our classes are designed to teach you how to motivate your dog and humanely decrease unwanted behaviors, all while having fun.
