WHERE: Louisiana SPCA | 1700 Mardi Gras Blvd.

One Health New Orleans: Healthy People. Healthy Pets. Healthy Community.

Join the Louisiana SPCA and the New Orleans Health Department for One Health New Orleans 2026 on Saturday, November 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Louisiana SPCA New Orleans Campus, 1700 Mardi Gras Blvd.

Held in recognition of National One Health Week, this community wellness event brings together resources for both people and pets in one place. Attendees will have access to free and affordable health services, helpful information and community resources designed to support healthier families—two-legged and four-legged alike.

One Health recognizes the connection between human, animal and community health. This event is an opportunity to make care more accessible, connect families with resources and help people and pets head into the holiday season healthy and supported.

Attendees will have access to a range of health services for both people and pets.

Pets can receive free rabies and core vaccines, including DHPP and Bordetella for dogs and FVRCP for cats.

“One Health reminds us how closely connected the health of people, animals and our community truly is,” said Ana Zorrilla, CEO of the Louisiana SPCA. “By bringing these resources together in one place, we can make care more accessible and help build a healthier New Orleans for everyone.”

Food trucks will be on-site with food and refreshments available for purchase, and free parking will be available for event attendees.
