Palm Sunday Rabies Drive - Louisiana SPCA

Join us on April 2nd from 1-5pm for a rabies drive at 7 New Orleans Fire Department locations.

Orleans Parish residents will receive a rabies vaccination, tag, and license good for 1 year for only $15 (cash only). Rabies vaccinations are required by law in Orleans Parish and are applicate to dogs and cats. According to the New Orleans Code of Ordinances, Chapter 18 Sec. 18-169., rabies vaccinations are required for all cats and dogs owned, kept, maintained, or harbored by a person residing in Orleans Parish. There should be a tag evidencing such vaccination affixed to the collar or harness of the cat or dog as well.

All dogs MUST be on a leash and all cats MUST be in a carrier or on a leash.

Engine 17 – 4115 Woodland Dr.
Engine 21 – 3940 Paris Ave.
Engine 25 – 2430 S. Carrollton Ave.
Engine 35 – 964 N. Carrollton Ave.
Engine 36 – 5403 Read Blvd.
Engine 39 – 5600 Claiborne Ave.

Come out on Palm Sunday to get your pet/s vaccinated against rabies, which has no cure if contracted. We look forward to seeing you there!
