The LASPCA Carnival is a family-friendly celebration where people and their pets can enjoy a full day of fun, community, and compassion. Guests can expect a lively atmosphere filled with local food vendors, live music, and entertainment, along with interactive games and activities for both families and their furry companions.

Beyond the fun, the carnival also features opportunities to give back through auctions and donations. Every ticket purchased helps fuel animal rescue, humane education, and advocacy efforts across Louisiana—supporting the Louisiana SPCA’s mission to protect and care for animals in need while inspiring the next generation of compassionate pet lovers.

The Carnival will be held at our main campus: 1700 Mardi Gras Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70114. We can’t wait to see you there!

Absolutely! Carnival is designed for the whole family—including your furry friends. With activities for kids, adults, and pets, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Carnival is planned as a rain or shine event. Since this is an outdoor event, we recommend checking the forecast and dressing for comfort. In the rare case of severe weather, the event may be canceled. If that happens, your ticket purchase will be considered a 100% tax-deductible donation to the Louisiana SPCA.

Yes, guests ages 12 and older will need a ticket to attend. Children under 12 are free, but must still be registered if they plan to attend. You can purchase and register using the link below.

Yes, all pets will need a “Pooch Pass” to attend. You can purchase one using the link below.

Yes, tickets will be available at the door, but we strongly encourage purchasing in advance for a quicker check-in experience. Carnival is a cashless event, so please bring a card for payment.

No worries! Our event is ticketless. If you completed your purchase, your name is already on our guest list. Just check in at the event using the name you used when purchasing.

Things you can (and should) bring:

  • Blankets
  • Chairs
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses, hats, fanny packs
  • Strollers
  • A poncho
  • And other typical New Orleans festival items.

Please do NOT bring:

  • Outside food and beverages
  • Glass Bottles or Containers
  • Coolers or Large Bags
  • Large Umbrellas
  • Bicycles, skateboards, scooters
  • Weapons of any kind

A variety of local vendors will be serving your favorite New Orleans cuisine. Since the event is cashless, we will accept credit and debit cards, Apple and Google Pay as forms of payment. As Carnival gets closer and vendors are finalized, we’ll share more details.

We strive to make Carnival enjoyable for everyone. While vendor menus are still being finalized, we’re working to ensure there are options to accommodate a variety of dietary needs. As vendors are finalized, we will share more details on food choices

There will be fun for everyone! Activities include face painting, the MetLife “Vet for a Day” experience, and interactive games for both pets and people—with even more surprises to come.

Yes, on-site parking will be available for attendees however may be limited if turnout is higher than anticipated.

Yes, Carnival is designed to be accessible and welcoming for individuals with disabilities.

Yes, restrooms will be available on-site.

Yes, security will be present throughout the event to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. While EMT services will not be on-site, first-aid kits will be available at the main entrance in case of minor injuries or emergencies.
