Stout was once a warrior of cats. He bravely fought the hoards of rats in the war of 2020. When he was only a kitten he made a name for himself with his beautiful and unique singing voice. He had many lovers and is the grandfather to many. Now Stout would like to retire and write his memoirs. He would prefer a quiet home where he can collect his thoughts and rest his bones. He loves gentle head scratches after you have clearly stated your qualifications. Stout will serenade you with his Happy Meows as you scratch him. Stout might take some time to warm up to you but remember he has bravely fought rodents for years so he has trust issues. (Translating Cat to English isn't an exact science so some of this story may be fabricated)

In Louisiana, our pets are a part of our culture as much as anything else. And for more than 130 years, the Louisiana SPCA has been an advocate for all our furry friends across the state. Follow our Lead and show the characters of Louisiana you care by supporting the Louisiana SPCA.

The Louisiana SPCA helped more than 2,000 animals find their forever home in 2019.
