Our Food Pantry was created to help pet parents by providing pet food, litter, and other pet-related necessities like leashes and collars.

To access our pet food pantry, please choose one of our campuses to visit during our normal business hours. Once there, one of our team members will help you access our food pantry!

Most of the animals we take in from owner surrenders are due landlord issues. We encourage each owner surrender to exhaust every option before surrendering their pet, including re-homing their pet with a trusted friend, family member, or reputable source.

At the Louisiana SPCA, it’s part of our mission to foster the human-animal bond, especially in our training classes.  Our classes are designed to teach you how to motivate your dog and humanely decrease unwanted behaviors, all while having fun.
